Osaka EF9

With new technology and more and more horsepower peaks being met its hard not to turn to the new but the guys at Osaka JDM continue to hold on to oldschool hondas, and have fun doing it. This EF9 is a straight up Kanjo racer, racing down the highways of Japan with essence and grace at ridiculous speeds.
Powering this EF9 is the stock b16. Holding type-r camshafts, NGK plugs, FGK stainless steel headers, and having the tri-box intake shoot cold air into this b-series while protecting the race battery.
Everyone in the states wants to run JDM front ends, parts, and accessories. Well in Japan they do the same with USDM parts. A full USDM front end was mated to EF9 to stand out from the crowd.
Inside the hatch features a full roll cage, MOMO racing steering wheel, and some recaro buckets to hold you in.
When you open the door you see how serious Kanjo racing actually is, having a Mugen N1 window net to help hide the driver.

No, thats not Jason. Furukawa even sports a Jason mask like the old Kanjo racers to help hide his identity. He got into old school hondas when Kanjo racing was at it's peak and his passion continues to grow. Storms    of civics and crx's terrorizing the highways in the middle of the night, weaving in between traffic and hugging corners. Kanjo racing faded after being helped by the big police crackdown. Icons like Furukawa help keep the era alive building Kanjo style civics helped by the modern age.
Sunrise painted valve cover.
Just by looking at the front end of this EF9 you can tell it means business.
22 year old unibody stiffening helps make sure everything is in sync.
Sporting Loop 5 rims but Osaka JDM continues to diversify these rims by color combos.

Looking through the hatch you can see the design the roll cage took.
